Byliner.com Writers

Colson Whitehead — I enjoyed his story structure and humor in Whitehead's pieces. I think there's a good combination of smart analysis with well-written detail.

David Sedaris — It's not secret that he's one of my favorite writers. I think writing humor mixed with poignancy the way Sedaris does is so difficult. It seems simultaneously like he's go the wit to critique situations, while leaving himself totally vulnerable.

James Walcott — I just have always found James Walcott to be smart. He has excellent descriptions — things that are so exceptionally well-stated.
